December is packed with exciting events to round-off the karate calendar. Get ready for the final weekend course, the SKKSA Summer Course 2014, which begins the December Event schedule from 5 December 2014.

Summer Course

Join karateka from SKKSA’s eight dojos for an exciting weekend of karate. Train under instructors from each dojo in unique sessions that are fun and extremely informative.

Examinations

Eligible karateka may participate in the final examinations for white-brown belt. Exams are on the Sunday, and are conducted by the Chief Instructor Sensei Aneel Dowlath, and internationally-graded SKKSA instructors from our dojos.

Awards Evening

On Saturday, December 13, join us in celebrating the achievements of our karateka at the 2014 SKKSA Awards Evening, at the Elangeni Hotel.

Getting There

The Summer Course will be held at the UKZN Westville Campus Sports Science Hall. Maps are available for karateka coming from the north and south coast. Visit the SKKSA Blog to read the post on getting to the venue. Click here to view the maps.

What to bring

Make sure you’re hydrated. Bring lots of water to each session. Also, make sure you have the correct attire: karate suit, correct belt, SKKSA badge. You will need your Grading Book and/or SKKSA Student Card to sign-in to each session.

Final Exams

Signing-In to Sessions

You can use your SKKSA Student Card, or Grading Book, to scan your name into each session. It’s important that you sign-in to each session to confirm your attendance. Click here to view the Registration Process.
