A warm karate welcome to you! I trust that you enjoyed a restful summer holiday, and that you are energized and revitalized to enjoy another most eventful and exciting karate year. 2011 was a year highlighted by significant successes by our karateka, both nationally and internationally, and it was a year which saw our students grace the tatamis in 3 different countries. I have no doubt that these succeses will continue into 2012, and I am certainly looking forward to a year that will see our students excell and bring honours once again.
Congratulations to the 2011 Dojo of the Year – Durban North!
Who will it be in 2012? Each dojo is encouraged to rise to this challenge and actively participate in the organisation’s events and program. Your commitment and dedication to your sport and to this organsation is what will set you apart and be the next worthy winner. Good Luck!
A warm welcome, also, to our latest affiliates: Sensei Rodney Sobramoney and his instructors and students in Stonebridge Phoenix and Mount Edgecombe. We are looking forward to your valued contribution to the SKKSA family.
There are a number of events planned for 2012, and a calendar will be circulated shortly online.
You will note the relaunch of our website, a new, user-friendly and intuitive vehicle which will ensure you are always kept up to date and in touch.
